ShopRite prices on electrical/gas products
We would like to point out to all our members that ShopRite prices can only be obtained by contacting us on 1300 650 214, or using our website to send us an electronic price request. It has come to our attention some retailers are informing members they can supply ShopRite prices. This is incorrect so please ignore such statements. If this occurs please contact us immediately. ShopRite now uses 5 different major electrical goods suppliers so please make sure you obtain the best possible price by contacting us as above.

ShopRite Prices and why we need sales
We would once again appeal to members not to reveal our prices to other suppliers. ShopRite is a price-beating service (not a price-quoting service) and as such we should be the last port of call before members finalise their purchase. Most of our members do the right thing but there are still members who take our prices back to other suppliers.

I would like to highlight the following points:    
1.    We, and our traders, accept in good faith that members provide us with their best price when calling.
2.    To keep ShopRite going, and ensure the ongoing provision of great prices to our members, we do need sales.
3.    It is not fair on our suppliers to beat the member’s best price only to have their price taken back to the other supplier. The other supplier may reluctantly match it to make the sale, particularly if the member is in their store. Without sales our suppliers would be reluctant to carry on providing us with discounted pricing.
4.    Does the other supplier really deserve the sale if they have not provided the best price in the first place?
5.    Every sale you complete with us will build up your sales history and make it easier for us to negotiate lower prices on your behalf.

If all our members shopped our prices there would be no ShopRite and therefore no way for members to get the great prices we can now secure.
